In this unit you will be introduced to different types of mental health and key factors that may contribute to mental ill health illness.

Unit 2: Understand the role of the mental health worker

In this unit we will look at ways to work with- in mental health while protecting your own mental wellness. We also look at Legislation and guidance that help to protect those with a mental ill health.

Unit 3: Understand the duty of care in health and safety

In this unit we will look at your duty of care, understanding conflicts and the rights of individuals. We will also provide understanding of the term consent.

Unit 4: Approaches to care and management in mental health

In this unit we look at risk assessments and why they are important. We will also provide knowledge on the care planning approach to mental health care, looking at all methods of treatment to help manage mental health illness and recovery.
